Job Summary
Join NetApp, a global leader in intelligent data infrastructure, as a Software Engineer (IC2). You will contribute across the product lifecycle—from concept to deployment—building scalable microservices, distributed systems, and working with cutting-edge cloud and container technologies. Be part of an inclusive, innovative, and collaborative engineering team solving real-world enterprise challenges in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and implementation of distributed systems handling petabytes of data
- Develop scalable microservices with a focus on performance and reliability
- Participate in the full SDLC including design, development, debugging, testing, and maintenance
- Work with modern CI/CD practices and system programming
- Collaborate across teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions
Required Skills
- Proficient in Python, Go, or similar languages
- Good to have: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js
- Experience using Git or other version control tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Solid understanding of operating systems, kernel programming, and data structures
- Eagerness to learn new technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- BE/BTech or M.Tech in Computer Science or related field
