Job Description

Join us as a DevOps Engineer at NatWest Group!
This is an opportunity for a driven individual to take on an exciting new career challenge. You’ll be working with a wide range of stakeholders, from platform teams to feature teams, and help build, maintain, and automate DevOps tools, technologies, and pipelines.

What You'll Do:

• Develop, build, and configure DevOps tools, technologies, techniques, and processes.
• Create trusted pipelines of work from development through to production environments utilizing automation.
• Contribute to building the DevOps engineering capability, culture, and mindset within the organisation.
• Coach and mentor teams to enhance DevOps capabilities and customer experience.
• Set up DevOps methodologies and tools within platform and feature teams.

The Skills You’ll Need:

• 5+ years proficiency in Python, AWS Cloud, ReactJS, Dynamo DB, and AWS Contact Centre.
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambdas, VPC, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Route53.
• Hands-on knowledge of GitLab (including runners and builds) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
• Proficiency in writing shell scripts, Linux programming, and using AWS pipeline services (Code Build, Code Pipeline, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of CI tools, source code management, deployment, and configuration tooling.
• Familiarity with agile ways of working.
