Role Overview

We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Intern to support our Defence Business Sales team in India. This role offers hands-on experience in the Defence sector and exposure to Motorola’s strategic sales processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Support: Assist in business opportunity management, customer relationship handling, proposal preparation, and market research.
  • Customer Outreach: Identify and contact potential government and defense customers through regular research.
  • Market Research: Conduct competitor analysis, trend studies, and customer needs research to inform sales strategies.
  • Sales Administration: Maintain CRM systems, track sales leads, and prepare sales reports and presentations.
  • Event Support: Coordinate sales events, trade shows, and product demonstrations across Pan India.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze sales data to track progress, identify opportunities, and enhance sales performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams like marketing, product management, and operations.

Qualifications

  • Education: B.Tech/ B.E. (Engineering)
  • Field of Study: Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • Interest: Strong interest in the Defence sector and sales functions
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Research & Analysis: Analytical mindset with the ability to generate actionable insights
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Workspace (G Suite)
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Team Player: Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
