About the Role

As a Software Engineer, you'll join the Asset Monitoring team, working to bring product ideas to life. You will design scalable components and services to track everything from trailers to tools at job sites, providing real-time insights to streamline operations and increase customer profitability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and document scalable solutions
• Write secure, maintainable code that powers real-time asset visibility
• Build scalable API interfaces for internal and external services
• Implement appropriate monitoring, logging, and debugging for system health
• Actively contribute to AWS cloud infrastructure
• Mentor and collaborate with other engineers within the organization

What We’re Looking For

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
• 2-4 years of software development experience
• Strong affinity for creating scalable, performant, and readable software
• Experience building distributed systems and product infrastructure
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Go Lang, Java, or similar languages
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, Cassandra)
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, private clouds)
