As a Software Engineer - Backend, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing the Compliance, Fleet, and Driver Management systems. This is a high-impact role that requires technical excellence and offers opportunities to work at a global scale.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, QA) to design scalable backend solutions.
• Write secure, maintainable, and scalable code that powers mission-critical platforms.
• Launch and support backend features that serve the trucking and transportation industry at scale.
• Build comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure system reliability.
• Contribute to architecture design and code reviews.
• Provide on-call support for critical production systems.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best engineering practices across the team.

Technical Skills Required:

• Proficient in backend languages such as Ruby on Rails, GoLang, Java, and Node.js.
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB, Redis, Cassandra.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure services including AWS, GCP, Azure, or private clouds.
• Expertise in building distributed systems, APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Ability to design and maintain highly available, fault-tolerant systems.
