Job Summary

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on AWS foundational services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing compute, networking, storage, and monitoring services, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.

Key Responsibilities

Compute & Scaling:

• Deploy, configure, and manage EC2 instances, Auto Scaling Groups (ASG), and Elastic Load Balancers (ELB).
• Optimize resource allocation and scaling strategies.

Database Management:

• Set up, maintain, and optimize RDS for high availability and performance.
• Ensure automated backups, failover mechanisms, and security best practices.

Networking & Security:

• Configure and manage VPC, Site-to-Site VPN tunnels (S2S), and Transit Gateway (TGW).
• Implement network security policies, including NACLs, security groups, and subnets.

Monitoring & Logging:

• Set up CloudWatch for monitoring performance, logging, and alerting.
• Implement proactive monitoring to resolve infrastructure issues.

Storage & Backup:

• Manage S3 storage solutions, including lifecycle policies, versioning, and encryption.
• Ensure data backup strategies align with business continuity requirements.

Operating System & Automation:

• Manage Linux-based environments and optimize performance and security.
• Automate infrastructure management using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with AWS core services: EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, CloudWatch, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling.
• Expertise in networking concepts (VPC, VPN, TGW, subnets, route tables, security groups).
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Experience with cloud security best practices and identity management (IAM, KMS, security policies).
• Ability to troubleshoot cloud performance issues and optimize costs.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred (Good to Have)

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway).
• AWS certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS SysOps Administrator, etc.).
