Job Description

Job Title: Trainee Engineer
Department: Engineering
Reports To: Team Lead - Engineering

General Purpose:
Providing technical support for Product Development Engineering, CAD Engineering, and Options Engineering teams. You will work under direct supervision on small to medium projects.

Essential Functions:

• Apply basic engineering skills to work assignments.
• Take accurate notes, showing work and assumptions.
• Create technical specification drawings and models to assist Engineering under supervision.
• Participate in project and work team environments.
• Communicate frequently with Engineers and Managers on assigned projects.
• Set an example in attitude, work quality, and quantity.
• Improve technical and organizational skills through continuous education and learning opportunities.
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.E / B. Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering with a 7+ CGPA.
• Knowledge of at least one 3D CAD tool.
• Excellent written and spoken English with clear articulation.
• Passion for product development solutions.
• Analytical mindset and willingness to discuss and debate ideas.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and apply them on the job.
• Flexibility to work in different shifts.
• Ability to work individually or within a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with priority setting.
• Attention to detail and quality focus.
• Good understanding of design principles.
• Ability to take direction, receive feedback, and work to deadlines.
• Adhere to processes and procedures.

Additional Requirements:

• Any internship experience in the manufacturing industry is an advantage.
