Job Description:
McAfee is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications and services within the Consumer Platform Product Development team. This hybrid role based in Bengaluru requires onsite presence 1 to 6 days monthly. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments and is experienced with AWS, Node.js, microservices, and large-scale databases.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and implement preventive measures
• Develop rapid proofs of concept (PoCs) for new technologies
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in collaboration with product teams
• Participate actively in Agile Scrum teams
• Contribute to design, development, testing, and deployment activities
• Develop and deploy microservices using Node.js, Kubernetes, Docker, and EKS
• Manage relational and NoSQL databases like MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency with AWS cloud services and microservices architecture
• Experience with Node.js backend development
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and scalable web applications
• Skilled in container orchestration tools: Kubernetes, Docker, EKS
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
