Role Overview:

We are looking for a Cloud Software Engineer who is passionate about development, has a strong interest in cybersecurity and data protection, and wants to join our collaborative team. As a senior software development engineer, you will help drive our backend cloud infrastructure. This role involves:

• Leading the design, development, testing, and deployment of cloud-based software solutions
• Contributing to architecture design
• Mentoring junior developers
• Ensuring code quality and compliance

Additionally, you'll be troubleshooting, optimizing performance, and staying up-to-date with cloud technologies.

This is a hybrid position based in Bangalore, and you will be required to be onsite as needed. When not onsite, you can work remotely from your home location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop software: Design, develop, debug, and test complex platforms to classify malware.
• Work directly with developers, architects, test engineers, DevOps, and researchers.
• Build scalable, high-performance, and reliable web applications that operate 24/7.
• Develop and deploy microservices and cloud-based applications, preferably on AWS.
• Collaborate with global teams, including Architecture, Product Management, Customer Experience, Security, DevOps, and other departments to enhance McAfee Consumer Products.
• Follow Agile Scrum methodologies and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.

About You:

• Education: Preferably a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Engineering from a reputable institution with an excellent academic track record.
• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud development, specifically in AWS.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python and Java.
  • Experience with DynamoDB, EMR jobs, Lambda, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and AWS.
  • Ability to lead end-to-end development activities.
