Mastercard powers economies and enables secure, smart digital payments globally. The Application DevOps Engineer role supports Mastercard's A2A Risk Solutions team, developing automated monitoring and resilient microservices to detect fraud and optimize financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop automated monitoring tools for data science-driven microservices
- Collaborate with data scientists to improve fraud detection accuracy
- Build self-healing, resilient services promoting operational excellence
- Engage with evolving tech stacks across global teams
- Automate incident management and integrate with Mastercard ticketing systems
- Communicate with technical and business stakeholders effectively
Candidate Profile:
- 4+ years experience in software development, DevOps, data science, or related disciplines
- Proficient or willing to learn Python and Go programming
- Strong SQL skills and experience optimizing relational databases
- Familiarity with containers, orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), streaming data, APIs, and NoSQL stores
- Detail-oriented with a passion for building robust, scalable services
