Role Overview

As a Cyber Engineer in our Cyber Ops function, you will be part of a team dedicated to proactively reducing the cyber attack surface for Maersk. You will focus on identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities within Maersk’s ecosystems and networks. This is a pivotal role in ensuring the security of Maersk’s global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on IT systems, networks, and applications
• Prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and impact
• Develop and implement remediation plans to address identified vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly
• Monitor security alerts and stay informed on emerging threats
• Update and maintain vulnerability management tools and systems
• Present reports on vulnerability status, trends, and remediation progress to stakeholders
• Develop security policies, procedures, and best practices
• Provide guidance on security awareness and vulnerability management

Required Qualifications:

• CompTIA Security/CASP+ or equivalent certification (preferred)
• Familiarity with tools like Confluence and Jira for agile environments
• Technical insight and experience in vulnerability management
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple tasks
• Resilient, proactive, and a team player
