Role Overview:

As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you’ll design, deploy, and support scalable, secure, and resilient AWS-based infrastructure. You'll also enable hybrid cloud environments, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Design & Deployment:

• Architect and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, EKS, CloudFormation
• Build and operate landing zones across sandbox, staging, and production
• Integrate security tools like Wiz.io and CrowdStrike with EKS clusters

Security & Compliance:

• Implement IAM policies, encryption, secure VPCs, and audit logging
• Maintain compliance with internal and external security standards

DevOps & Automation:

• Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Monitor systems using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana

Collaboration & Support:

• Liaise with application, platform, and support teams for hybrid cloud enablement
• Provide guidance and documentation for DevOps and AWS infrastructure
• Align engineering stories with business goals in agile sprints

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
• Proficient in Terraform, CloudFormation, and container orchestration with EKS
• Strong knowledge of IAM, networking, and AWS security best practices
• Familiar with CI/CD tools and observability platforms
• AWS Certifications are a plus
• Scripting in Python or Bash is preferred
