Job Summary
As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will work within the Application Support Team to deliver high-quality, reliable, and secure infrastructure services. You'll manage and maintain in-house applications, support data ingestion/delivery, perform backups, handle failovers, and solve production issues.

Responsibilities

• Support ingestion and delivery of licensed data using proprietary software
• Manage system installations, configuration, and maintenance
• Perform database backup/restore, cluster and disaster recovery (DR) failovers
• Monitor logs, application health, and resolve technical issues
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for operational support
• Ensure timely resolution of client tickets and support queries
• Maintain process documentation and participate in change management
• Available for 24/7 rotational shift support

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Application Support
• Proficient in:
  • SQL Server, log shipping, import/export, data troubleshooting
  • Windows Server Administration
  • Cluster and DR Failover operations
  • Network basics & configuration
  • Application installation and performance tuning
  • Troubleshooting OS, database, and app-level issues
  • Basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
• Strong communication, time management & analytical skills

Educational Qualification

• B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc / M.Sc / BCA / MCA in Computer Science, IT or equivalent
• 0–2 years of experience in technical operations or application support
