Role Profile:

As an Associate, DevOps Engineer, you will join the Primary Markets Systems team within the Capital Markets Division. The team is responsible for managing systems on AWS and Salesforce PaaS. This role involves establishing a DevOps culture within your pod, working with CI/CD, deployment automation, and operational automation. You will oversee DevOps processes for your team, including Level 3 systems support.

Key Responsibilities:

• DevOps Culture: Advocate for quality DevOps practices and establish CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and release automation.
• Automation: Focus on automating deployments, release tasks, and processes to improve efficiency.
• Support & Mentorship: Provide Level 1-3 support for systems and mentor junior DevOps team members.
• Systems Design: Assist in designing resilient and scalable systems.
• Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, including IAM, WAF, and centralized logging.
• Collaboration: Work with global teams across EMEA, The Americas, and APAC to ensure smooth deployment practices.
• Release Management: Oversee release readiness, ensuring all changes meet quality criteria before deployment.

Required Skills:

• Salesforce Experience: 2+ years of experience with Salesforce.
• Cloud Platforms: 2+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or other Cloud Computing platforms.
• CI/CD & Version Control: Understanding of Git, CI/CD, release strategy, and development pipelines.
• Scripting Languages: Experience with Bash, Ruby, and/or Python.
• Unix Environments: Experience working in Unix-based environments.
• Tooling: Familiarity with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab, or ServiceNow.
• Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
• Communication: Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

• Salesforce DevOps: Experience with Salesforce DevOps & Release Management tools, such as Copado.
• Certifications: AWS Developer/SysOps/DevOps certification.
• Mentorship Experience: Previous experience in mentoring junior team members.

Education & Professional Qualifications:

• Degree: BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field (desirable).
• Salesforce Certifications: Highly beneficial.
