The role focuses on cloud reliability, monitoring, incident response, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, CI/CD, and automation, supporting platforms used by millions of users globally.

Role Summary

As a DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer, you will ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of cloud-based backend services. You will work closely with developers and infrastructure teams to monitor systems, handle incidents, automate troubleshooting, and improve observability across production environments.

This role is ideal for engineers with experience in Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, CI/CD, monitoring tools, and cloud infrastructure who want to work on large-scale, real-world systems.

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring & Incident Management

• Monitor cloud infrastructure, servers, and application performance using modern tools
• Investigate and resolve production incidents using logs, metrics, traffic analysis, and configuration reviews
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response
• Draft incident reports, RCA summaries, and postmortems

Observability & Reliability

• Support and enhance monitoring and alerting systems
• Work with Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana for metrics, dashboards, and alerts
• Identify reliability gaps and proactively improve system stability and uptime

Automation & Tooling

• Develop tools to automate troubleshooting and incident investigation
• Create scripts to improve support workflows and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with developers to ensure production-ready code deployment

DevOps & Platform Support

• Support containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Troubleshoot API-driven microservices
• Assist with release management and CI/CD deployment processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1 year in DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering
• Operating Systems: Strong hands-on experience with Linux (Ubuntu) CLI and administration
• Networking: TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, routing, VPN fundamentals
• Scripting: Bash, Python scripting for automation
• Containers: Docker and containerized system knowledge
• Kubernetes: Experience with cluster operations, deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting
• Version Control: Git/GitHub knowledge
• APIs: Experience troubleshooting API-based services
• Communication: Professional English skills (written & verbal)
