Job Description
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of LeewayHertz’s infrastructure and applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leveraging automation, monitoring, and incident response to ensure high availability and seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain reliable infrastructure solutions for uptime and performance.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency.
• Monitor system performance and availability using Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency and reduce human error.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable systems.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets for high service reliability.
• Proactively address system issues with effective monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams for efficient and secure code deployment.
• Conduct post-mortems to improve system reliability and reduce downtime.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or System Administration.
• Expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies.
• Knowledge of performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with security best practices and encryption standards.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Kubernetes certifications.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Knowledge of load balancing, DNS management, and networking concepts.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (CS/IT) or Master’s degree in Computer Applications (MCA).
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
