Role: Cloud Engineer – Make a Significant Impact

As a Cloud Engineer at Kobie, you will play a critical role in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure highly available, scalable, and secure systems, while implementing automation to optimize efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to improve software delivery processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure peak performance.
• Implement automation for system efficiency and reliability.
• Continuously optimize infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Provide technical support to development and IT teams.
• Mentor junior engineers to strengthen team capabilities.

Skills & Expertise Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 1-5 years’ experience in Automation, IaC (Infrastructure as Code), SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
• Proficiency in cloud and hybrid cloud environments with focus on resilience, compliance, and security.
• Experience managing complex infrastructure: Networking, DNS, Container Orchestration, Security, Monitoring.
• Design and manage public/private cloud infrastructure using OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure): Compute, VNC, Buckets, LBaaS, etc.
• Migration experience to Microservices architecture, API Management, Container technologies, and Serverless solutions.
• Hands-on experience with OCI services, including Compute, VNC, Buckets, DNS, LBaaS.
• Expertise in modern programming and scripting languages: Python, Ansible, Go.
• Deployment and maintenance of services in mixed OS, containerized/virtual environments: Docker, Kubernetes, VMWare, Windows Server, Linux.
• Experience deploying applications in cloud environments like OCI, Azure, AWS.
• Expert in automation frameworks: Ansible, Rundeck, Terraform, Packer, CloudFormation, Puppet, Chef.
• Source control management proficiency with Git.
• CI/CD expertise: Jenkins, ADO, GitHub Actions, Atlassian Bamboo, GitLab CI/CD.
• Containerized workload management: Kubernetes, EKS, Rancher.
• Exceptional customer service, teamwork, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
