About the Role:

As an Associate Software Engineer, you’ll join the new India Tech Hub, contributing to Kobie’s enterprise-grade loyalty platform. You'll work with advanced technologies, contribute to microservice cloud applications, and collaborate with talented professionals around the globe.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in all phases of Agile development (planning, grooming, coding sprint items)
• Work with live APIs, batch processing, and queue-based integrations
• Engage in design sessions and provide input based on acceptance criteria
• Document configurations and business logic
• Mentor peers and promote strong coding practices
• Estimate task scopes and deliver efficiently
• Suggest process and technology improvements
• Collaborate across global teams and departments

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Java (preferably JDK 11+ with Spring Boot)
• 3+ years of front-end experience
• 1+ year with Angular (v10+ preferred)
• 1+ year developing REST APIs with JSON
• Experience with microservice cloud applications (Oracle, AWS, or Azure)
• 1+ year working with SQL, preferably PostgreSQL or Oracle
• Familiar with execution plan tuning and multi-table SQL
• Agile/Scrum process experience
• Bonus if you have experience in Loyalty, Banking, or Accounting domains

Preferred Tools & Technologies:

• RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or Kafka Streams
• Docker, Kubernetes (kubectl)
• Build tools like Bitbucket/Git, Gradle, Bamboo
