Job Overview – Site Reliability Engineer

We're hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to enhance system resilience, automation, and observability. You'll work closely with DevOps, engineering, and security teams, applying industry-leading SRE practices, cloud-native tooling, and performance engineering.

Responsibilities

Reliability Engineering

• Implement SRE principles: SLAs, SLOs, SLIs, and resilience engineering
• Participate in incident management and post-mortem reviews
• Help execute disaster recovery and high availability strategies
• Enhance MTTR through refined response playbooks

Observability & Monitoring

• Build monitoring with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic
• Lead load testing, capacity planning, and performance tuning
• Explore AIOps and ML-based issue detection and alerting

Security, Compliance & DevSecOps

• Ensure compliance with SOC2, ISO 27001
• Follow zero-trust models and hardening practices
• Work closely with infosec on secure CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure roles
• Proficiency in cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Kubernetes and container orchestration experience
• Experience with ELK stack, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry
• Strong in Python, Go, or Bash scripting
• Good grasp of networking, CDN, DNS, security principles
• Familiar with HA, DR, and scalability strategies

Preferred

• Experience in Agile/Startup culture
• SRE certification (Datadog, Google)
• Exposure to Chaos Engineering
• Understanding of multi-timezone deployments
