Role: Trainee Cloud Engineer

Location: JP Nagar, Bengaluru South, Karnataka, India
Experience: 0–1 Years

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Install and configure Linux operating systems on servers and computers.
• Set up hardware and software environments to support organizational requirements.
• Configure network services such as DNS, DHCP, VPN, and other essential protocols.
• Create, modify, and delete user accounts while maintaining strict data security.
• Manage user permissions, access controls, and implement security policies (password strength, expiration, etc.).
• Continuously monitor system performance, utilization, and health.
• Apply updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain system reliability and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on Linux systems.

Mandatory / Primary Skills

• Training in Linux and AWS Cloud.
• Strong understanding of Linux distributions: Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian.
• Working knowledge of MySQL.
• Basic scripting knowledge: Shell, Perl, and/or Python.
• Good Understanding of AWS Services:
  • EC2, EBS, Security Groups, VPC, S3, ELB, Route 53, KMS, CloudWatch, CloudFormation
• Knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
