Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure Linux operating systems on servers and workstations
• Set up hardware and software environments to meet organizational needs
• Configure network settings and services such as DNS, DHCP, and VPNs
• Create, modify, and manage user accounts and access controls
• Implement security policies for password strength and expiration
• Monitor system performance and optimize resource usage
• Apply updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain system security
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
• Work with AWS cloud services such as EC2, EBS, Security Groups, VPC, S3, ELB, Route53, KMS, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation

Mandatory / Primary Skills

• Trained in Linux and AWS
• Understanding of various Linux distributions including Ubuntu, CentOS, and Debian
• Working knowledge of MySQL database management
• Scripting skills in Shell, Perl, and/or Python
• Knowledge of networking protocols: DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
