Job Description

IQVIA is hiring a DevOps Engineer I to join its global IT operations team. The role requires designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS, Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes, along with strong scripting and performance optimization skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
• Architect and maintain cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance and resolve bottlenecks
• Manage Docker and Kubernetes clusters for scalable deployments
• Maintain infrastructure via Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Implement monitoring and logging tools to ensure system reliability
• Automate repetitive DevOps tasks to increase efficiency
• Collaborate with security teams to maintain secure DevOps practices
• Participate in on-call rotations for incident response and system health

Required Skills

• 1–5 years of hands-on DevOps or SRE experience
• Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation
• Experience with AWS, Red Hat Ansible, CI/CD tools, scripting (Python/Bash)
• Knowledge of cloud security, 24x7 shift availability, and strong collaboration skills
