Description
As a Kubernetes/Linux Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing Kubernetes infrastructure solutions within MSCI's Infrastructure Engineering group. You will collaborate with various teams to drive cloud and container transformation initiatives and handle mission-critical Kubernetes solutions. Your expertise will contribute to technical discussions and implementation of scalable, secure, and performance-optimized Kubernetes solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Kubernetes clusters on GKE, AKS, and on-premises.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Kubernetes cluster issues.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop cloud standards, policies, and processes to support integration projects and cloud migration.
• Lead projects on implementing new technologies and ensuring compliance with security and performance requirements.
• Collaborate with technology providers to resolve integration-related challenges.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging tools and cloud platforms.

Skills and Experience

• BSc in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of experience managing enterprise Kubernetes infrastructure in production.
• Experience with container orchestration and containerization technologies.
• Cloud experience (AKS/GKE/EKS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD tools like Terraform, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Ansible.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Azure Log Analytics.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, able to communicate with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with cloud solutions and migration.
