Required Knowledge/Skills:

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support Model: Work in a 24x7 support model.
  • Environment Management: Support non-production and production environments.
  • Technical Service Desk: Provide first-call resolution (FCR) and assist in achieving 25% FCR for overall ticket volume.
  • Customer Communication: Maintain professional communication with customers following Datavail’s protocols.
  • Ticket Management: Ensure tickets are assigned and resolved within SLA timelines.
  • Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues under the supervision of Tier 2/Tier 3 DBAs.
  • Routine DBA Activities: Perform basic DBA tasks and service requests.
  • Monitoring: Monitor production and development environments using various tools.
  • OS Knowledge: Strong understanding of Windows operating systems.
