Job Summary:

BlackLine is hiring Software Engineers to build and optimize cloud-based financial automation solutions. You’ll work with cutting-edge .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, AWS/GCP, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, and microservices to develop scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Backend Development: Design, develop, optimize, and maintain cloud-based applications.
✔ Database Management: Work with SQL Server, data modeling, and stored procedures for high-performance databases.
✔ API & Microservices: Develop and manage RESTful APIs, authentication, messaging platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
✔ Scalability & Performance: Contribute to the architecture of distributed systems and event-driven applications.
✔ Security & Compliance: Implement secure coding best practices for enterprise-grade applications.
✔ Agile & DevOps: Collaborate in an Agile environment, contributing to CI/CD pipelines and automation.
✔ Cloud & Containerization: Work with AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.

Required Skills & Experience:

✅ 3-6 years of backend development experience.
✅ Strong expertise in .NET Core & C# (Python/Java is a plus).
✅ Proficiency in SQL & database performance tuning (Microsoft SQL Server preferred).
✅ Experience with microservices, API gateways, and event-driven architectures.
✅ Hands-on experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, etc.).
✅ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
✅ Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills:

⭐ Experience with NoSQL databases.
⭐ Knowledge of public cloud services (AWS/GCP).
⭐ Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
⭐ Background in FinTech or financial services.
⭐ Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.
