Role Overview

As a System Engineer within the Cloud team, you will work across the complete Software Development Life Cycle. This role involves designing, optimizing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, enhancing cloud infrastructure, improving deployment efficiency, and supporting secure, scalable environments in a fast-growing tech ecosystem.

This role includes exposure to AWS cloud infrastructure, DevOps engineering, automation, containerization, and high-impact enterprise systems widely used across global financial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to implement secure deployment practices.
• Monitor and troubleshoot deployment issues to improve system reliability.
• Enhance and automate cloud environments to support scalable architecture.
• Maintain Git-based version control and enforce branching best practices.
• Coordinate release schedules and ensure smooth pipeline execution.
• Provide infrastructure support and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews, sprints, and Agile processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Proven experience as a DevOps, Cloud, or System Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins CI/CD.
• Knowledge of IaC tools like Terraform, JCasC, or Jenkins Shared Libraries.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and scripting skills (Groovy, Bash, Python).
• Experience with build tools (Maven, Gradle, NPM).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Agile development and tools like Jira or Azure Boards.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or similar cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to monitoring and logging suites (CloudWatch, NewRelic).
• Experience with security and code-quality tools (SonarQube, Snyk, Veracode).
