Job Summary:

Milliman is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu) and Windows administration to design, implement, and support mission-critical infrastructure. The role involves system automation, security hardening, cloud integration, and incident response for high-availability environments.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Linux Administration: Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade Linux systems.
✔ Infrastructure Support: Optimize resources, expand infrastructure, and enhance on-prem/cloud environments.
✔ Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices and align with regulatory standards.
✔ Monitoring & Incident Response: Develop KPIs, troubleshoot issues, and reduce downtime.
✔ Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor junior engineers, contribute to cross-functional teams, and encourage best practices.
✔ Automation & Cloud: Work with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP.

Required Qualifications:

✅ BSc/BTech in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
✅ 10+ years of hands-on experience with Linux systems (Red Hat, Ubuntu).
✅ Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell) for automation.
✅ Experience in high-availability Linux/Windows environments.
✅ Knowledge of security best practices & compliance (ISO, PCI, GDPR).
✅ Strong problem-solving, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

⭐ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) & Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
⭐ Certifications in Linux (RHCE), Oracle (OCP), or cloud technologies.
⭐ Knowledge of VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, SANs, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls).
⭐ Experience leading technical teams using Agile methodologies.
