Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring Cloud Assets: Monitor cloud infrastructure including databases, virtual machines, firewalls, and sources.
• Employee Support: Ensure efficient handling of employee needs in the cloud environment.
• CICD Pipeline Monitoring: Monitor and suggest improvements for existing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines.
• Troubleshooting: Address production outages and performance issues within the cloud infrastructure.
• Alerting & Monitoring: Proactively improve monitoring and alerting of hosts and services.
• Security Policies: Maintain and execute on-premise and cloud security policies.
• Incident Management: Troubleshoot incidents, analyze events, and communicate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Documentation & Run Books: Create and manage run books for procedures, tasks, workflows, and builds to facilitate team and client interaction with Cloud Infrastructure.
• SOP Maintenance: Build and maintain SOPs and tribe knowledge for monitoring and automation.
• Cloud Operations: Support day-to-day cloud operations, ensuring availability, durability, scalability, and uptime of multi-cloud platforms.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience: 2-5 years in a relevant field.
• Research/Analytical Skills: Ability to gather, analyze, and document information effectively.
• Proactive Problem-Solving: Help customers avoid potential issues and provide clear solutions.
• Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and efficiently, with limited supervision.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or multi-cloud environments.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Networking, Linux/Unix.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-Oriented: Collaborative mindset to work efficiently with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to Detail: Able to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• 24/7 Support: Willingness to support customers during urgent needs, including weekends and public holidays.
