Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor cloud assets (databases, VMs, firewalls, storage) and ensure smooth operations.
- Assist employees with cloud-related needs efficiently.
- Help improve CI/CD pipelines under senior engineers' guidance.
- Participate in troubleshooting production outages and performance issues.
- Enhance monitoring & alerting systems for cloud services.
- Follow and enforce security policies for on-premise & cloud services.
- Document run books, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides for cloud operations.
- Support 24/7 cloud operations, with flexibility for urgent issues outside business hours.
- Work with AWS/Azure/GCP (or multi-cloud) under supervision.
- Learn and apply networking & Linux/Unix fundamentals in cloud environments.
Skills & Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in cloud operations, DevOps, or related fields.
- Basic understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP (certifications are a plus).
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Proactive mindset with attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
Desired Skills:
- AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Linux, Networking, Monitoring tools, ITIL, Service management.
