Job Description

Amadeus is looking for an Associate Software Development Engineer to join its team. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions while working within Agile development processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze specifications and define user requirements for new or existing software solutions.
• Design systems and code technical solutions while ensuring feasibility.
• Develop software following Amadeus standards, including database modeling and implementation.
• Test and maintain software by conducting unit, package, and performance tests.
• Debug and support customers by resolving software issues in collaboration with Product Managers.
• Document software development processes and provide necessary documentation.

Skills Required

• Programming Languages: Knowledge of Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
• Databases: Basic understanding of SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Exposure to Agile and DevOps processes.
• Testing & Debugging: Understanding of unit testing and debugging techniques.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
