Common Accountabilities

• Possesses required technical/functional knowledge and experience in own discipline.
• Understands the Amadeus business and its relation to the role.
• Works with existing procedures and provides input for improvements.
• Works with moderate guidance and direction from a manager.

Specific Accountabilities

• Manage infrastructure components, including platform components, containers, and cloud operations.
• Maintain and build platforms for software solutions and services.
• Facilitate the shift from legacy and network-based environments to cloud-based solutions.
• Build tooling and infrastructure to enhance engineering productivity.

About the Business Area/Department

• Part of Airport IT, supporting multiple airports worldwide.
• Products include Flight Information Systems, Airport Operations Systems, and Biometrics solutions.
• Involves applications managing flights, resources, public/private/mobile displays, and software solutions optimizing airport operations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain applications hosted on AWS and Azure Cloud.
• Perform system administration on Windows and Linux machines.
• Automate operational and release activities using scripting.
• Provide production support for cloud-hosted applications.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with AWS, Linux, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and Bash/Python scripting.
• Understanding of certificates, JBoss, Apache, Elasticsearch, Fluentd, and Grafana.
• Basic networking knowledge and familiarity with ServiceNow.
• Experience in vulnerability remediation.
• Ability to multitask and work flexible hours.
• Willingness to participate in on-call support in a follow-the-sun model.
• Experience in the Airport/Travel domain is a plus.
