Job Description

Greenway Health is hiring Associate Systems Engineers to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of server environments that drive the company’s healthcare technology mission. You’ll work with senior engineers to ensure system performance, reliability, and security, while gaining hands-on experience in AWS cloud, VMware, Windows, Linux, and virtualization tools.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain servers and related applications.
• Monitor system performance and implement optimizations for high availability.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in hybrid environments.
• Implement security best practices like patch management and system hardening.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.
• Support backup and disaster recovery planning.
• Collaborate with IT teams for platform integration and user support.
• Contribute to cloud migration, infrastructure upgrades, and client environment provisioning.

Technical Skills Required:

• Experience with VMware, P2V, V-Motion, ESX server troubleshooting.
• Hands-on with CA & SSL Certificate setup and management.
• Good knowledge of IIS Web Services, MS Clustering, and Ansible/Chef.
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu).
• Cloud platforms: AWS EC2, S3, RDS, Route 53, IAM, and subnet gateways.
• Experience with storage technologies: SAN, NAS, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS.
• Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell or Python is a plus.

• Microsoft Server, VMware, or AWS certifications.
• Hands-on experience in cloud optimization and cost management.
• Familiarity with AWS Lambda functions and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of backup and recovery strategies for cloud and on-prem environments.
