Role Overview
The Associate Software Engineer is responsible for designing, analyzing, testing, and implementing applications and infrastructure supporting Greenway’s business operations and cloud-based product systems. This role involves modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) in AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect secure, scalable AWS infrastructure solutions
• Manage on-prem and cloud environments
• Provision and maintain AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudTrail, CloudFormation
• Develop automation scripts for deployment and configuration
• Utilize IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Support hybrid infrastructure integration and migration to AWS
• Collaborate in Agile sprints with cross-functional teams
• Establish monitoring and alerting using best practices
• Document infrastructure configurations and processes
• Mentor junior engineers and support technical decision-making

Required Skills & Experience

• 1–2 years of software development experience
• Strong understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudTrail)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Scripting languages: Python, Bash, SQL
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Knowledge of cloud architecture, design patterns, and security
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Relevant AWS Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Developer Associate)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Background in healthcare or healthcare technology
• Experience working in Agile teams
• Ability to mentor and lead team members
• Understanding of hybrid environments (on-prem & cloud)

Work Environment

• Primarily sedentary role with extended computer usage
• Regular use of keyboard and screen
• Requires active listening, typing, and verbal communication
