Job Description
Google is hiring for the position of Web Solutions Engineer, part of the gTech Ads team. This role focuses on providing technical support and services for Google's Ad products. The position involves working with ad tech products and delivering scalable, global solutions to improve customer experience across Google's suite of products.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect requirements, and provide guidance and best practices for applying ad products and technologies.
- Proactively scope, design, and build global-scale solutions to be reused by customers, sellers, and partners.
- Adapt existing bespoke ad solutions into globally scalable ones that support millions of customers.
- Own the solution lifecycle, from discovery to launch, managing maintenance bugs, feature requests, and deprecation for a portfolio of scaled solutions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in coding with Java, C++, or Python.
- Knowledge of SQL, technical design, web technologies, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Experience with ad tech products (e.g., ad server, DSPs, DMPs, web analytics).
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and data-driven proposal abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal business communication skills.

From enabling self-help and in-product support to providing tailored solutions for large customers, the team ensures customers get the best return on investment with Google Ads. The Scaled Technical Services (STS) team within gTech Ads collaborates globally to identify and develop solutions, tools, and services to improve products and enhance client experiences.
