About the Job

At Google Operations Center (GOC), we help Google users and customers solve problems and achieve their goals. We focus on continuous improvement and team collaboration. In this role, you will provide outstanding technical support for Google Cloud Platform (GCP), troubleshooting issues in customer environments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguous situations to provide solutions.


Position Responsibilities

  • Respond to, diagnose, resolve, and track customer queries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Maintain response and resolution speed as per Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Assist and collaborate with other Technical Support Representatives.
  • Use troubleshooting tools to identify root causes and provide assessments.
  • File issue reports to Google engineers and work with them to resolve complex product bugs.
  • Manage customer-specific requirements on architectural design, focusing on specific product features.
  • Provide high-touch assistance to the highest tier customers and advocate for their issues with Google engineers.

Required Skills

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Associate-level Cloud Certification (preferably GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms.
  • 3-6 years of experience in customer support, working with serverless platforms, storage, and developer tools.
  • Intermediate coding skills in one of the following: Golang, C++, Python, or any SQL language.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Relational or Non-Relational Databases.
  • Strong understanding of core data structures concepts.
  • Knowledge about DevOps, CI/CD, and database migration.
