Job Description:
Gainwell Technologies is looking for a Professional 2 Application Designer to work on systems modeling, simulation, and analysis. This role will design, develop, troubleshoot, and analyze software programs that interact with hardware systems. You will be involved in customizing purchased applications and ensuring the proper functioning of software and hardware systems, providing first-level support to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform systems modeling, simulation, and analysis to provide software solutions.
• Design and develop compilers, assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
• Assist in the customization of purchased applications and maintain program libraries.
• Provide hands-on first-level support to customers.
• Ensure the proper functioning of software and hardware through feedback and reports.
• Participate in designing, developing, troubleshooting, and analyzing software programs.
• Work in a team environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• Three or more years of experience in software engineering or operating systems programming.
• Experience with design and coding languages.
• Experience working with computer hardware.

Other Qualifications:

• Analytical and problem-solving skills for software design and testing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for team collaboration and customer interaction.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other team members.

Technical Skills (Primary/Mandatory):

• Experience with .NET Core or C#.NET framework, WEB API, WCF, LINQ, Entity Framework.
• Proficient in C#.Net, LINQ, HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, MVC, Ajax.
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle databases.
• Familiarity with GitHub repositories.

Technical Skills (Secondary/Optional):

• Experience with MongoDB, WPF, InRule, SSRS, Appian, k2 workflow, Redis, Azure Service Fabric.
• Cloud experience with Azure/AWS, CI/CD pipelines is preferable.
• Experience working in agile projects using the Scrum framework.
