Role Overview
We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to automate, secure, and scale Foxit’s multi-cloud infrastructure. This role combines DevOps, Cloud Security, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code, Observability, and AI-powered operations to enable reliable global software delivery.

You will work hands-on with AWS cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, security automation, and vulnerability management, while building AI-driven operational tooling for monitoring, incident response, and alert optimization.

Key Responsibilities – Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

• Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform with minimal supervision
• Operate containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and Helm
• Implement blue-green, canary, and rolling deployment strategies
• Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash for cloud operations
• Research and implement AI-driven automation tools for log analysis and alert reduction

Key Responsibilities – CI/CD & Reliability Engineering

• Build, optimize, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI
• Configure monitoring and observability using Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor
• Perform log aggregation, performance analysis, and proactive incident resolution
• Improve system reliability, scalability, and cloud cost efficiency

Key Responsibilities – Security & Compliance (DevSecOps)

• Apply OWASP Top 10 security principles across infrastructure and deployment pipelines
• Integrate SAST and DAST security scanning tools into CI/CD workflows
• Configure and maintain Web Application Firewall (WAF) and network security rules
• Manage vulnerability lifecycle: scanning, prioritization, remediation coordination

Required Technical Skills

• Programming & Scripting: Python, Bash; basic Java or PHP knowledge
• Cloud Platforms: 1+ year hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, IAM)
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (CloudFormation is a plus)
• Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), Helm charts
• DevOps & CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
• Version Control: Advanced Git workflows and branching strategies
• Linux Administration: Strong command-line and system administration skills

Nice to Have Skills

• Monitoring & Observability: Datadog, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor
• Security Tooling: SAST/DAST, vulnerability scanners, WAF
• Networking: DNS, load balancers, VPNs, network security
• Databases: AWS RDS, Azure SQL, containerized databases

Professional Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering
• Ability to independently manage staging and production environments
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent collaboration and technical communication abilities

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent hands-on experience
• Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
