Job Overview

• Assist in developing and implementing solutions for Data Management (DM) service issues related to Medidata RAVE, Oracle Inform, CRF Design, and Data Capture.
• Develop and maintain programs for creating datasets as per specifications.
• Create CRF annotations and mapping specifications as per CDISC/Sponsor datasets.
• Import external data and transform it into SAS datasets or Excel files for data review and reconciliation.
• Maintain study databases for assigned projects.
• Perform programming for regular and ad-hoc reports/listings using SAS, Spotfire, and other tools.

Key Responsibilities

Programming & Data Management

• Develop programs for SAS dataset creation and transformation.
• Import external data and convert it into SAS datasets or Excel files for review.
• Create CRF annotations and mapping specifications as per CDISC/Sponsor guidelines.
• Perform programming for scheduled and ad-hoc reports using SAS, Cognos, R, and Business Objects – XI.

Technical & Compliance

• Follow Fortrea SOPs, Work Instructions, and project guidelines in compliance with Good Clinical Practices.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for computerized systems used in projects.
• Maintain awareness of CDISC standards and statistical programming developments.

Collaboration & Continuous Learning

• Provide regular task updates to the Line Manager.
• Work closely with project team members across disciplines.
• Continuously enhance communication, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Learn and implement new programming tools like Python, SAAMA, and Spotfire.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Skills: SAS, Python, R, CDISC standards, Cognos, Business Objects – XI.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and eagerness to learn.
