DevOps Engineer Intern – FinacPlus | Bangalore (On-Site)

Position: Intern – Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / DevOps

Location: Bangalore
Duration: 6 Months (Full-Time, On-Site)

Overview

FinacPlus is looking for a passionate and dynamic DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering Intern to join our growing team. This opportunity is ideal for quick learners eager to gain hands-on experience working with cloud infrastructure, containerization, CI/CD, and observability tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to develop, deploy, and maintain infrastructure using tools like Terraform and GCP.
• Assist in automating CI/CD pipelines with Groovy, Jenkins, and Git.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes (K8s) clusters, and troubleshoot containerized applications.
• Create and manage dashboards using Grafana and monitor systems with Prometheus.
• Participate in sprint planning, share feedback, and help improve team processes.
• Learn and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices and monitoring strategies.

Required Skills

• Strong desire to learn new technologies and solve complex problems.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing, infrastructure concepts, and containerization.
• Familiarity with tools/technologies such as:
  • GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, Groovy, Git, Grafana, Prometheus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or Groovy.
• Hands-on knowledge of Linux administration and Kubernetes configuration.
• Understanding of monitoring and alerting principles.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
