Job Description
As a Windows & Network Administrator at Feathersoft, you will be responsible for the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IIS, server infrastructure, and applications hosted on the Microsoft platform. This role requires expertise in both Windows and Linux environments, along with cloud infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, upgrade, and maintain IIS (Internet Information Services)
- Manage websites, application pools, virtual directories, and security settings on IIS
- Deploy and troubleshoot .NET applications on the IIS platform
- Implement and maintain SSL/TLS, LDAP, and access control policies
- Configure High Availability and Load Balancing for web services
- Monitor and optimize IIS and system performance
- Analyze system logs and respond to performance or security incidents
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell or similar scripting tools
- Administer Windows & Linux servers, including routine updates and patching
- Handle AWS Infrastructure setup and configuration
- Perform MS SQL Server administration and maintenance
- Manage user access rights and system security across servers
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2ā4 years of experience in IT/System/Network Administration
- Strong experience with IIS, .NET deployments, and web server troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of Windows Server & Linux Server administration
- Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure
- Scripting knowledge (preferably PowerShell) for automation
- Proficient in MS SQL Server configuration and performance tuning
- Experience with log analysis and issue resolution
