Job Description
Feathersoft is hiring a Junior DevOps Engineer to join its team in Ernakulam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Linux servers, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, monitoring infrastructure, handling automation, and ensuring security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and configure Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
• Monitor performance and plan capacity
• Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Create shell and automation scripts using Ansible, Chef
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Redgate
• Integrate automated testing and quality checks
• Set up monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
• Create dashboards and alerts using Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana
• Apply security measures, access controls, and patch management
• Conduct audits for system security compliance
• Work with Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
• Document configurations, deployments, and incident resolutions
• Respond quickly to production issues and minimize downtime

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in Linux systems and administration
• Knowledge of automation, scripting, and networking
• Experience with containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD tools
• Skills in security, compliance, and cloud management
• Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Redgate
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
