Job Summary
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be the first line of technical support for Esper’s diverse clientele, helping deliver exceptional device experiences and resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Deliver telephone and email-based technical support to Esper customers.
- Gather information, diagnose and investigate issues, and provide comprehensive solutions.
- Offer excellent customer service for Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
- Plan, prioritize, and manage workloads to meet service standards.
- Ensure swift responses to all customer requests.
- Troubleshoot customer environments using a variety of devices.
- Collaborate with internal product support teams for issue resolution.
- Adapt to different shifts (day/night).
- Continuously upgrade your skills and technical expertise.
Requirements
- Knowledge of SaaS product support in a cloud console environment; experience with mobility solutions preferred.
- Proficiency in Mobile Device Platforms (Android and iOS).
- Familiarity with log collection and analysis tools.
- Experience with support desk/CRM tools like Zendesk or Salesforce.
- Exposure to issue tracking software such as Jira.
- 2–5 years of experience in customer support or customer experience roles.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Strong multitasking ability and attention to detail.
- Passionate about solving customer issues.
Bonus Points For
- Domain expertise in DevOps, Hardware, SaaS, or Android.
- Understanding of Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM).
- Proven experience in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
