Role Overview
As a Systems Engineer at DTCC, you will be responsible for evolving and verifying solutions that meet client needs. Your primary focus will be reducing risk and improving the efficiency, performance, security, and stability of all systems and platforms.
Responsibilities
- Proficiency in Linux platforms and hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Shell scripting, Python, and Ansible.
- Experience with AWS services, Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, and Pipelines.
- Experience with containerization platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, and OCP.
- Knowledge of code repositories like GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of SSL/TLS certificates, Autosys job scheduling, and networking concepts like firewall and load balancing.
- Experience with DataPower setup, installation, and configuration is desirable.
- Working with Sterling Connect Direct, Control Center Monitor configuration, and setup is desirable.
- Vendor coordination, ticket management, and issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Required Skills
- Programming skills in Python and Unix shell scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, ArgoCD.
- Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to stay current with technology trends and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Open to learning and adapting to new technologies and tools.
