As an Application Support Engineer, you’ll work on dynamic projects, ensure smooth running of applications, and provide support for critical systems. You’ll collaborate with development teams and infrastructure partners to resolve issues and ensure the reliability of the application systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve critical application alerts and production defects, providing analysis and business impact details
• Verify analysis and implement changes to prevent recurrence of incidents
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide solutions for application issues
• Review and update knowledge articles and runbooks with development teams
• Participate in audits and submit responses to requests for information
• Handle minor enhancements as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of related experience in application support
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Hands-on experience with Unix, Linux, Windows, SQL/PLSQL, and relational databases (DB2, Oracle, Snowflake)
• Experience with monitoring and data tools (Splunk, DynaTrace, Grafana, etc.)
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, OpenShift, etc.)
• Scripting experience in Bash, Python, Ruby, Shell, Perl, JavaScript
• Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend)
