Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain innovative software solutions focused on service performance, durability, cost, and security
• Apply software engineering best practices to ensure high quality deliverables
• Develop high-quality distributed systems in an Agile startup-like environment
• Lead critical, highly-visible functions within DP World’s International Expansion Business
• Drive technical direction and feature roadmap autonomously
• Collaborate with talented colleagues and help build high-performance teams

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, distributed system design, databases, and design patterns
• Proficient coding skills in modern languages such as ReactJS, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js
• Experience with REST, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Angular, Vue, AWS cloud services
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps automation
• Ability to work effectively with ambiguous or undefined problems and think abstractly
• Strong communication skills for proactive collaboration

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed system performance analysis and optimization
• Familiarity with AWS services like RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, Kinesis, SNS, CloudWatch
• Background in NLP, Deep Learning, Machine Learning or training ML models
• Experience in building machine learning infrastructure
