Role Overview
As a Junior Site Reliability Engineer, you will assist in designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure and deployment systems that support live environments. You will work closely with development teams and senior SREs to build reliable and automated solutions, with a focus on performance, observability, and scalability.

Core Responsibilities

Infrastructure Design & Maintenance

• Assist in building infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Support environment provisioning (production, staging, testing)
• Help implement shared components: logging, metrics, service mesh
• Collaborate with developers to meet deployment needs

Deployment Systems & CI/CD

• Support CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Argo CD)
• Improve reliability and automation of deployments
• Assist in deployment, rollback, and testing processes
• Reduce manual steps in operations workflows

Reliability, Observability & Tooling

• Maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Track SLOs/SLIs and contribute to performance optimization
• Participate in post-incident analysis
• Support detection and resolution of system bottlenecks

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

• Create and maintain internal documentation and runbooks
• Contribute to onboarding and knowledge-sharing materials
• Join internal training and learning sessions

Collaboration & Culture

• Work under the guidance of the SRE Lead
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
• Participate in on-call rotations with strong mentorship
• Foster a learning-focused, blameless culture

Qualifications & Skills

• 1–2 years in a DevOps or SRE role
• Basic cloud computing knowledge (AWS preferred)
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes basics (AWS ECS is a plus)
• Exposure to CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Argo CD
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Proficient in at least one scripting language (Bash, Python)
• Understanding of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Curious, proactive, and problem-solving mindset
