Position Overview
- Role: DevOps Engineer Intern
- Location: Dallas, Texas – Headquarters
- Type: Full-Time Internship
Copart is seeking a motivated DevOps Intern to support our technology teams in maintaining, automating, and improving production systems that power our large-scale online platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building, maintaining, and troubleshooting company products.
- Support the development of internal tools and processes to enhance infrastructure stability.
- Gather, analyze, and report IT system data for performance insights.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure efficient IT system performance.
- Assist in creating and managing product-related IT procedures.
- Research and document product-related systems and processes.
- Respond to production issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Help in developing and documenting infrastructure standards.
- Participate in IT training and knowledge sessions.
- Automate repetitive system administration tasks.
- Present technical ideas clearly to team members.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Programming & Scripting: Python, Java, Bash, or similar languages.
- Operating Systems: Windows and Linux.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and DevOps practices.
- Basic understanding of system administration and IT infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
