As a Software Engineer, you will be contributing towards building a best-in-class centralized reporting platform. You will be involved in the entire development process from requirements, design, development, CICD, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop an enterprise application handling a high volume of data (over tens of billions).
• Build and run a new greenfield application in Java (Spring Boot) with different types of databases including relational, document, key-value, and graph.
• Participate in designing and documenting the system using UML diagrams.
• Manage relationships and communication with project stakeholders.
• Design and build the cloud infrastructure in AWS using infrastructure as code.
• Contribute to DevSecOps improvements.
• Contribute to test automation, including unit and integration testing.
• Monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
• Ensure the adoption of best practices in engineering and architecture.

Essential Skills:

• 4.5+ years of development experience in any object-oriented programming language, preferably Java (Spring Boot).
• Strong understanding of data structures and efficient memory management.
• Experience working with applications handling large volumes of data (10s of billions).
• Full cycle engineering experience: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, release, and production support.
• Familiarity with relational databases, SQL queries, and performance tuning.
• Experience with various database types like key-value, document, and graph.
• Exposure to AWS Redshift and data warehousing.
• Worked in an agile environment.
• Familiar with development and collaboration tools like GIT, Jira, and Confluence.
• Good understanding of enterprise solutions and architecture.

Education Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology.
