Job Description

Cognyte, a global leader in investigative analytics software, is seeking a passionate DevOps Implementor to join our Network Intelligence Platform R&D team in Pune. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge security solutions that serve over 1,000 government and enterprise organizations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support R&D processes including System Integration (S.I), Quality Assurance (QA), and Continuous Integration (CI).
• Deploy and maintain infrastructure tools and automation flows.
• Automate product installation and configuration.
• Maintain centralized log collection for product monitoring.
• Collaborate with infrastructure engineers to support complex deployments.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years in system integration, DevOps, or related roles.
• Proficiency in networking technologies: DNS, DHCP, Firewall, OpenVPN.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• Experience with Linux and multiple operating systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Wireshark, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Knowledge of network security concepts including IPsec Tunnels, NAT, Layer7 filtering, ACLs.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or TravisCI.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies (Docker, LXC).
• Advantageous: knowledge of Ansible, Chef, Salt for configuration management.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented with a passion for quality.
