• Design, develop, and debug software applications for Cisco’s network, embedded, and application platforms.
• Work on software tools and infrastructure supporting routers, switches, cloud, and data center systems.
• Develop in Python, C/C++, Java, or related languages.

• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of software systems.

1. Software Engineer – Networking Protocols

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, and switching fundamentals.
• Knowledge of security technologies like Firewalls, VPNs, IPS/IDS, TLS, and IPsec.
• Proficiency in Python and network debugging tools.
• Exposure to routers, switches, and network troubleshooting is a plus.

2. Software Engineer – Application Development

• Solid grasp of object-oriented programming and design principles.
• Experience or interest in cloud-native and scalable application design.
• Hands-on experience with Python, debugging tools, and open-source projects.
• Knowledge of UI/UX development and mobile app frameworks is a plus.

3. Software Engineer – Embedded & Systems Development

• Strong fundamentals in operating systems, kernel, and system programming.
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or embedded development.
• Exposure to device drivers, board support packages (BSPs), and system-level debugging.
